Happy birthday to the woman who has supported me through every major life event, usually by demanding screenshots, asking seventeen follow-up questions and immediately deciding who is to blame. You can turn a five-minute story into a full criminal investigation, arrive late with absolutely no sense of urgency and say “I’m not judging” while looking like a Victorian magistrate. You give excellent advice you would never dream of following yourself, remember my worst decisions in perfect chronological order and can hold a grudge so efficiently it deserves its own filing system. We’ve spent years encouraging each other, rescuing each other and occasionally enabling behaviour that a responsible adult should probably have stopped. Still, you’re loyal, hilarious and one of the very few people I’d trust with the truth. Or at least the version we agreed on. Love ya, you magnificent nightmare x
