FESTIVE AGAINST MY WILL

Merry Christmas. There, we've said it. Now let's all spend a month eating things from decorative tins and pretending a tree in the lounge is perfectly normal. You've probably bought wrapping paper, lost the scissors and discovered the lights worked beautifully until the exact moment you needed them. Someone will ask if you're ready for Christmas as though it's a driving test. Someone else will mention how quickly it's come round, apparently shocked by the calendar's continuing commitment to December. Have another mince pie. We'll get through it. Beneath all the glitter, queues and unnecessary novelty clothing, we're glad you're part of our life. Wishing you warmth, good company and a Christmas full of love, however you choose to spend it.
